WHEREAS, there have. been prepared Specifications, Provisions and Plans for the construction
Recreation Building in Godfrey Park, numbered KW 6-63-14 and flied. in thm offtice of the CIL):
Clerk on Tune 4, 1963;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Spncifications, Provisions and Plans, nnmbered nnd Filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby
approve 1. and adopted-
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work 22 11 in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Count:Al of the. City oM Alameda will. receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m- on. FRIDAY, JUNE 2K, 1963, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary rom the work heregnaboye referred to, in accord-.
ance with said. Speolfications and Provisions. Bids must be. presented to Ong City Clerk, in the Ciry
Hall, AJameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, 'Proposal for
Recreation Building -- Godfrey Park or simdiar designation.
CanKract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisiona of the Charter of the
Clty of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submgcs the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Sgid Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on apglicatToh to
the City Engineer, at hds office. in the City hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby dgrected to advertise, in the Alameda Tincs-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in acmordance with the provisions of tnds resolution and nf sadd Specitgcatious and
Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby oeTtlfy that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
incroduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
4th day of June 1963, by the following vote, to 3'
