CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL DF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing.tc the City of Alameda two (2) three-wheel carriers for the Golf Department, Cushman
Model 783 Eaulster, Westcoaster Greensmaster, or acceptable equal, No. MS 8-63-12, filed in the
office of the City Clerk on August 6, 1963, be, and the sai e. are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Connell of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:50 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, AUGUST 23, 1963, for furnishing to the City of said
equipment, ia accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Two (2) Three-Wheel Carriers for Golf Department or similar designation,
Cootraet, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and hest bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to Advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing fn,- sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifica-
tions and Provisions,
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
5131 day of August, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES:. Councilmen La Croix, Jr., Rose and Vice President McCall, (3)
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Freeman and President Godfrey, (2).
