ADOPTINC. SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
IMPROVEMENTS IN McKINLEY PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer haw prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
improvements in. McKinley Park, ndmbered PW 8-63-18 and Eiled in. the office of the City Clerk on
September 3, 1963;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, he, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a—m. on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 1963, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinaboye referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Nall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal
for hmprovements in McKinley Park", Or siadlar designation.
Contb:act, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
Cihy of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who 11111 111 the lowest and best bid. The ri ght is
reserved to reject any or all bids—
Said Specificationw and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, ar his office in the City Wall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
3rd day of September, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, jr., McCall, Rose and President Gbdfrey, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
