'WHEREAS, the Alameda Chamber of Commerue is ydlling to undertake the work of advertising
the City of Alameda and to carry on. all the necessary publltAty for said Ciry during the fiscal year
ending june 10. 1964; and
WHEREAS, the productlica. of such advertising and pab'licity requires special services of a
professional and technical hature and special technical skill and facilities;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By THE CaINCIIII OF TAN CITY OF ALAMEDA, that the City ef
Alameda enter into a contract Oth the Alameda Chamber of Commerce for the carrying en by said
ChamOer of Corncepte of all necessary publicity and advertising on. begalf of the City of Alameda :Nix
the fiscal. year ending june 30, 196a;
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that a form of contract to be efltpred into by and between thm Alamgda
Chamber of Commerce and the City of Alameda, submitted to the Council and filed yAth the City Clerk
of the. City of Alameda on September 17, 1963, and :Lae terms, agreemeato and provisions thereof be,
and the saw.e are hereby approved.
RESOLMED, FURTHER, that. the. Mayor of Lice City of Alaw.ds. is hereby auCherized and directed
to ex.etute, and the City Clerk to attest, cal. behalf of the City of Alameda, a contract substantially
