APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE FOR ELECTION OF BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF RECLAMATION DISTRICT NO. 2087 AND APPOINTING AN ELECTION
BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of Reclamation District No. 2087, acting pursuant to Sec-
tion 50731 of the Water Code of the State of California, has requested the Council of the City of
Alameda to appoint a time and place for holding an election of a board of trustees for said District
and to appoint an election board for said election as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that, pursuant to the provisions of Secticns
50601, 50602 and 50730 of the Water Code of the State of California and the by-laws of said District,
a board of Trustees having five (5) members shall be elected by the landowners of said District
every four (4) years; and
WHEREAS, the term of office of all present members of the Board of Trustees of said Dis-
trict shall expire on December 11, 1963, it is necessary and proper that the Council make an order
on said application;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows:
1. That an election, in compliance with the provisions of Part 4 of Division 15
of the Water Code of the State of California, at which there shall be elected five (5) eligible
persons, each to be elected for a term of four (4) years, who shall constitute, when elected
and qualified, the Board of Trustees of Reclamation District No. 2087, shall be held on TUESDAY,
the 2Ist day of JANUARY, 1964, at 1932 Otis Drive, in the City of Alameda, State of California,
the same being a place within said District.
2. That the following three (3) landowners in Reclamation District No. 2087 are hereby
appointed to act as the election board for said election:
George C. Lorbeer
Elaine Tasoulas
Betty Ferrario
3. That said George C. Lorbeer is hereby appointed Inspector of said election and said
Elaine Tasoulas and Betty Ferrario are hereby appointed Judges of said election.
4. That the City Clerk, in compliance with the provisions of Section 50732 of the Water
Code of the State of California, shall cause a notice of said election to be published in the
Alameda Times-Star, on each day said newspaper is published, commencing on November 8, 1963, and
continuing to and including December 9, 1963.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
5th day of November, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
