RESOLUTION REJECTING CLAIM FOR DAMAGES AGAINST CITY BY SAMUEL M.
MATTHEWS AND THEODORE OLIVER MATTHEWSL_A MINOR.
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1960, a claim for damages against the City of Alameda, the Alameda
Unified School District, and others, was filed by Samuel M. Matthews and Theodore Oliver Matthews,
a minor, based upon injuries alleged to have been incurred by said Theodore Oliver Matthews, a
minor, while playing at Krusi Park on April 27, L960; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds said claim is not a proper charge against the City of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED HY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said claim
for damages heretofore filed against the City of Alameda by Samuel M. Matthews and Theodore Oliver
Matthews, a minor, be, and the same hereby is rejected.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
19th day of November, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: None,
AbSENT: None.
