ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO HE CITY OF ALAMEDA
TWO (2) NEW, 8-CYLINDER, 4-0906 SEDANS, 1964 MODELS, WITH
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda two (2) new, 8-cylinder, 4-door sedans, 1964 models, with automatic
transmission, for the Police Department, No, MS 12-63-20, filed in the office of the City Clerk no
December 17, 1963, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on MONDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1963, for furnishing to the City of said
automobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented tc the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the out-
side, "Proposal for Two (2) 4-door Sedans for the Police Department", or similar designation.
Conrract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions cf the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest arid best bid. The right is reserved to reject
any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing Cor sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of December, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall., Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT.: None.
