CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6547
ADOPTING REVISED BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED
FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES.
WHEREAS, a master agreement has heretofore been executed by the City of Alameda, herein-
after referred to as the City, and the State Department of Public Works, Division of Highways,
hereinafter referred to as the Department, on March 2, 1961, for expenditure of State allocated
funds; and
WHEREAS, on July 16, 1963, by Resolution No. 6501, a budget therefor was adopted by the
City in accordance with a project statement of said expenditures; and
WHEREAS, a supplemental project statement is now required in order to budget additional
State allocated (0.725) funds for the following projects:
(1) Additional funds for the construction of drainage facilities at various locations.
(2) Additional funds for the maintenance of major city streets and secondary city streets,
July 1, 1963, to Juno 30, 1964.
(3) Additional funds for the purchase of right-of-way for Westline Urlve, Otis Drive to
Eighth Street.
(4) Funds to construct drainage facilities at Santa Clara Avenue and Third Street.
(5) Funds en widen and resurface Atlantic Avenue from Main Street to Webster Street;
and
WHEREAS, such supplemental project statement,i has been prepared showing the estimated
expenditures of such funds recommended to he made during the fiscal year 1963-1964; and
WHEREAS, a revised budget has been presented to the City Council in accordance with the
project statement submitted by the City, and the City Council is familiar with the contents of said
budget;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said budget be
and is hereby adopted as the budget of expenditures recommended to be made from such funds during
the fiscal year 1963-1964,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council nf the City nf Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of December, 1963, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
