ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
INSTALLING A STORM SEWER TN PARU STREET BE'NEEN DAYTON AVENUE
AND THE LAGOON, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY aERK
TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisicns and Plans for
installing a storm sewer in Paru Street between Dayton. Avenue and the lagoon, numbered 1, 1-64-2
and fAled in the office of the City Clerk on January 21, 1964;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and PIans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURIHES, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of II:06 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JANOARY 31, 1964, for furnishing to the CitY of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereiqabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on nhe outside,
"Proposal for Installing a Storm Sewer in Paru Street Detv,een DayLsn Avenue and the Ladoon", or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reserved to reject any OT all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his offIce in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed no advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in 82 0828121' with ale provisions of this resolutAon and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
i, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and addpted by th.e Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
21st day of January, 1964, by the following vote, to wit,
