WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the installation of culverts and drainass improvements at. various locations, numbered Fa 2.-64A4 and
filed in. the office of the gity Clerk or. February 18, t9tim“
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT VESOLVED '1' ERE COUNCIL Of' TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specificationa, Special ProvisichE and Plans, cambered and filed as aforesaid, e, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLEU, FU'l THER. that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the. same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that. the Counnil of the Ebty of Alameda will. receive. sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 1964, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials:, kaehinery, tnsls and equipment necessary' for the work hereinabove referred accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids mast be prbsented to the City Clerk, in. the
City Mei, AJameda, California, unbar sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, 'Proposal for
Installation of Culverts and Drainage Improvements at Various Locations', or simiLar des.ignation.
.Cootract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charmer of the City
of AJameda, to the responsible 3,-' 3-1 who submits the lowes and best hid, The right is reserved to
rejEct any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application. to
the City Engineer, at his office in ahe City Hall, Alameda, Cliforaia.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, 3-1 the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sea1ed bids, in accordance with Mne provisions of this resoluton and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
