AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO GOLF PROFESSIONAL
CONTRACT BY EXTENDING TERM THEREOF TO JUNE 30, 1964.
WHEREAS, on January 15, 1964, pursuant to Resolution No. 6550, an agreement between the
City and Mark Fry was authorized, whereby said Mark Fry became Temporary Golf Professional for the
Alameda Municipal. Golf Course for the period from January 14, 1964, through March 31, 1964; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said term be extended to June 30, 1964, in
order to enable the Golf Commission to have sufficient time to recommend a permanent Professional;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED HY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor be,
and he hereby is, authorized to execute on City's behalf an amendment to said temporary golf pro-
fessional agreement, which said amendment shall extend the term of said agreement to the period
ending June, 30, 1964; said agreement in all other respects shall he unchanged.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of March, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:

NOES: None,
ABSENT: President Godfrey, (1).
