ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
ONE (1) NEW, LATEST MODEL 3,4 TON CHASSIS CAB TRUCK WITH A
SURVEYOR BODY, COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL PF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) new, latest model 3/4 ton chassis cab truck with a surveyor
body, completely assembled, No. MS 4-64-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 7, 1964,
he, and the sai e. are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, F...:RTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
th e hour of il:00 o'clock e. 5. on FRtDAY, APRIL 17, 1964, for furnishing to the City of said truck,
in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Pall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainlv marked on the outside, "Proposal
For 3/4 Ton Chassis Cab Truck with Surveyor Body", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible. bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved te reject
any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.
