WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists in the office of Treasarer and ex-officio Tax Collector of
Lhe City of Alameda;
NOW TAEREFORE. 30 TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that., pursuant, to
Seetion 2-7, Charter of the City of Alameda, JOHN L. BARNEICH be, and he hereby is, appointed to
the office of Treasurer and ex-of0icio Tax Collector of the City of Alameda, effective April 11, 1964.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing ResoluLion was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled
