ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1965, CLASS "B" PORTLAND
CEMENT CONCRETE TRANSIT MIX, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing Class "8" Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix to the City of Alameda for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1965, No. MS 5-64-5, filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 19, 1964,
be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
ro the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, MAY 28, 1964, for furnishing to the City of said
supplies, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids most be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside, "Proposal for Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix - Fiscal Year 1964-65", or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifica-
tions and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council, of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
19th day of May, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen La Croix, Jr., NinCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (4J.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Freeman, (1).
