REJECTING REDEVELOPMENT MAN FOR PARK CENTRE PROjECT (NO.
CALIF. R-63).
WHEREAS, the Redevelopmert Agency of the City of Alameda has presented to this Council
a Redevelopment Plan for the Park Centre PrOiect, designated No. Calif. R-63, public hearings
upon which were duly and regularly had, pursuant to Sections 33360 et seq., Health and Safety
Code of the State of California, on May 12, 13, 18 and 21, 1964, and on june 9, 1964, at which
all the ma,,,ters required by said sections were considered; and
WAEREAS, a Special Municipal Election was held on June 10, 1964, resulting in, among
otoer things, a majority vote against the proposition. 'Shall the Redevelopment Plan for the Park
Centre Project heretofore on Mar01 11, 1964. approved by the Redevelopment Agency of the Cfty of
Alaxeda, be adopted by the City Council?'"
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOIVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA Lhat the said
P,PdeveloDment Man for the Park Centre Project (No. Calif. R-63) not be adopt,ed by the City of
Alaneda, and said Plan should be, and h,re.by is, rejected by this Council.
