ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING DO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
ONE (1) NEW, LATEST MODEL, 1250 GPM CLASS "A" PUMPER FOR FIRE
DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) new, latest model, 1250 GPM Class "A" Pumper for Fire
Department, No. MS 8-64-8, filed in the office of the City Clerk on August 18, 1964, be, and the
same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 1964, for furnishing to the City of
said Pumper, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked an the
outside, "Proposal for 1250 GPM Class 'A° Pumper for Fire Department", cr similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
18th, day of August, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Freeman, (1).
