CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6684
APPROVING AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1964-1965;
APPROPRIATING CERTAIN MONEYS FOR THE EXPENDITUR1S PROVIDED IN
SAID BUDGET FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR AND RATIFYING CERTAIN
EXPENDITURES HERETOFORE MADE.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed with this Council, ac this meeting, a budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1964, And ending June 10, 1965, which budget is marked "Filed with the City Clerk
in open meeting of the City Council, September 15, 1964";
'IOW THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said budget. as
submitted to this Council at th is meeting, and each and every part thereof, be, and the same is
hereby, approved and adopted as the budget for the City of Alameda for the fiscal year 1.964-1963,
and that the expenditures of the various sums of money therein provided to be spent for salaries and
wages, maintenance and operation, and capital outlay, by each department as therein listed in detail,
are hereby approved and authorized in total, by the above object classification, as the appropria-
tions for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1965.
RE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that there be, and are hereby, appropriated for the fiscal year 1964-
1965, the specified sums For the purpose of meeting the cost of salaries and wages paid officers and
employees, the cost of maintenance, operation, and for equipment and other capital outlay of the
respective departments, divisions, offices and boards of the City, and for all other purposes desig-
nated in said budget for the respective purposes of the said departments, divisions, offices and
boards of the City, and for such special funds and other purposes designated in said budgets, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the appropriations herein provided for are made out of
the General Fund for the fiscal year 1964-1965, except those made to or for purposes for which special
funds are established, and as to such Jas:: mentioned purposes said appropriations are made out of the
special funds respectively established therefor.
BE rT FURTHER RESOLVED that such expenditures as may have been made by the several depart-
ments, Cvisions, offices and boards of the City after the beginning of the fiscal year 1964-1965
and prior to the adoption of this resolution, and have been or may be duly approved by the City
Auditor, are hereby ratified, confirmed and approved, and shall be respectively charged against the
appropriations herein and ri said budget provided for.

Introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
15th day of September, 1964, by the following vote, to wit.:
AYES; Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
