ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL FROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
THE INSTALLATION OF ARCH CULVERTS AND OTHER DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS 0 THE STATE HIOHUAY
ROUTD IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CIE K TO ADVERTISE DAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the installaton of arch culverts and other drainage improvements at various locations on the State
Highway Route in the City of Alameda, numbered FW 10-64-26 and filed in the office of the City Clerk
on October 20, 196/“
NOw, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED HY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
-'el -o» Spacial Proisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTAER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisons be, and the same is hereby authorized.
R,ESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed hide op to
the hour of 11:00 a.m. on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30, 1964, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
the Installation of. Arph Culverts and '1 hi Drainage Dnprovements at Various LocatIons on the State
Highmay Route", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder tiho suhmits the lowest and best bid, The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Englnaer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California°
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of October, 1964, by the following v(te, to wit:
