AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PROPERTY
DIVISION MAP NO. 121 -- PROPERTY AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER
OF GARDEN ROAD AND FLOWER LANE (D. & M. McCLURE) AND
APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE BOND AS TO SUFFICIENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Ccde, there
has been presented to this Council a Property Division Map, designated Prcperty Divi-
sion Map No. 121, and heretofore conditionally approved by the Planning Board, being
a division of the property at the Southeast, Corner of Garden Road and Flower Lane in
the City of Alameda (Bay Farm Island), by D. & M. McClure; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execu-
tion by subdivider of an agreement to construct and complete certain public imprcve-
ments on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted
its bond guaranteeing full and faithful performance of said work, all in accordance
with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed
in accordance therewith;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the agreement for the construction and completion of the improvements in the division
of property at the Southeast Corner of Garden Road and Flower Lane, designated as
Property Division Map No. 121, by D. & M. McClure, be, and the same hereby is,
approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute, and the City
Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $4,778.24, guaranteeing
full and faithful performance of said contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in
amount.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 17th day of November, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr.., McCall, Rose and
President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
