Resolution 06712CITY OE ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6712 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FIVE (5) NEW, 8-CYLINDER, 4-DOOR SEDANS, 1965 MODELS, WITH AUTOMATIC TRIISM1SSION, FOR POLICE DEPART- MENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAYE. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda five (5) new, 8-cylinder, 4-door sedanc, 1965 models, with automatic transmission, for the Police Department, No, MS 11-64-11, filed in the office of the City Clerk on November 17, 1964, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a, m. on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 8, 1964, for fur- nishing to the City of said automobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Pro- posal for Five (5) 4-door Sedans for Police Department", or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said City, to the reeponsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. The Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu- tion and of said Specifications and Provisions. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu- lar meeting assembled on the 17th day of November, 1964, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
