CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6722
AUTHORIZING EXECUTICN OF AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
RELATING TO PERFORMANCE BY COUNTY OF CITY PURCHASING FUNCTIONS.
WHEREAS, a form of agreement between the County of Alameda and the City has been proposed
by which the County may act as purchasing agent for the City when requested to do so by City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to contract with the County for the per-
formance by the County of a function common to each said party, said function being the purchase of
materials, supplies and other personalty;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Mayor of the
City of Alameda be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute on behalf of said City an agreement,
substantially in the form as proposed, with the County of Alameda, which agreement relates to the
performance by County of City purchasing functions, and the City Clerk is authorized to attest to
same.

the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
15th day of December, 1964, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
