ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
INSTALLATION OF STORM DRAINS ON MAITLAND DRIVE BETWEEN
DOOLITTLE DRIVE AND GOLF COURSE MEMORIAL ROAD, C13LLONG FUR
BIDS 1360 DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the installation of storm drains on Maitland Drive between Doolittle Drive and Colf Course Memorial
Road, numbered PW 12-64-31 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on January 5, 1963.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same
are hereby approved ard adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 1.1:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JANUARY 15, 1965, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must he presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Installation of Storm Drains on Maitland Drive between Doolittle Drive and Golf Course Memorial Road",
or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may he had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
•ng for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular mectin,n, assembled on the
5th day of January, 1965, by the following 'vote, to wit:
