ADOPTING PRECTSE SECTION ELEMENT TO MASTER PLAN (FERNSIDE
30DLEVARD EXTENSION, cm DRIVE TO ENCINAL AVENUE).
WHEREAS, the Planning Hoard duly and regularly considered a proposal to extend Feraside
Boulevard from Otis Drive to Encinal Avenue; and
WHEREAS, said Board has, by its Resolution No. 222, adopted DeceMber 7, 1964, reCommended
that said proposal be adopted as a precise section element to the Master Plan of this City; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to law, a public hearing thereon was regularly held by this Council on
january 19, 1965;
NOW THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the proposed
precise plan, entitled and designated 'Ternside Boulevard Extension, Otis Drive to Encinal Avenue,'
also referred to as City of Alameda Engineering Department Drawing No, 51885, Case 51, be, and the
same hereby is, adopted as a precise section element of the Master Plan of the City of Alameda,
with the provision, however, that said street, as proposed to be extended, he not more than eighty-
eight (H) nor less than eighty (50) feet in width.

the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Counth of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled en the
19th day of January, 1965, by the following vote, to wit.:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr,, McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
