BETWEEN TEE BOARD OF ADLIINISTRATICq OF THE STATE ELYSLOYEES'
RE1PRKNEPT SYSTEN AND THE. CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
HEREAS, the State EPployees' Retfressent Law pereGts the participation of public agencies
and thedr employees in the State Employees' Retirement System by the execution of a contract, and
sets forth the procedupe by which said public agencies may elect to subject themselves and their
employees tp affiendennes to said tau; and
WHEREAS, one step in said procedure is the adoption by the leuislaUive body of she Public
agency of a. resolution. giving notice of its intention to approve an amendment. to said contract, which
resolutton shall contain a summery of the chenges proposed in said. contract; and
WHEREAS, the following is a statement. cf the proposed change:
