ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
TWO (2) NEW, LATEST MODEL, TWO-DOOR 'COMPACT' SEDANS FOR BUILDING
DEPARTMENT, AND ONE (1) NEW, LATEST MODEL, FOUR-DOOR SEDANS FOR
STREET DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda
Item #1: Two (2) new, latest model, two-door 'Compact' sedans fax Building
Department
Item #2: One (1) new, latest model, four-door sedan for Street Department
No. MS 4-65-6, filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 6, 1965, be, and the, same are hereby
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, APRIL 22, 1965, for furnishing to the City of said auto-
mobiles, In accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Two (2) two-door 'Compact' sedans for Building Department and One (1) four-door sedan
for Street Department", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject
any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and
Provisions.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
6th day of April, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Freeman, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
