Resolution 06783CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6783 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR INSTALLATION OF A STORM SEWER IN WASHINGTON PARK, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ALVERME SAME. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for the installation of a storm sewer in Washington Park, numbered PW 5-65-19. and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 4, 1965; NOW THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED 1i' THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid Specifications. Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, he, and the same ere hereby approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci- fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 21, 1965, for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord- ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, 'Proposal for the Installation of a Storm Sewer in Washington Park', or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and hest bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hell, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call- ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions. * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of May, 1955, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall and Vice President Rose, (4).
