CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6796
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
INSTALLATION OF CONCRETE WORK AT GODFREY PARK, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans or
the installation of concrete work at Godfrey Park, numbered P9 -65-16 and filed in the office of
the City Clerk on May 111, 1965;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 13' THE COUNCIL. CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, he, and the same
are hereby approved and adoptd.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 1100 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 4, 1965, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hell, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
installing Concrete Work at Godfrey Park", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will. be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the
City of Alameda, 'to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid, The right is
reserved to reject any or all. bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application
to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, e notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular 33 110 assembled on the
18th day of May, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:

ABSENT: None.
