ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL. PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
RESURFACING MOUND STREET 131" :11 OTIS DRIVE AND SAN JOSE
AVENUE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
AHWEPTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City EngEneer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
resurfacing Mound, Street between Otis Drive and San. Jose Avenue, npmbered 1,241 6-65-18 and. filed in
the office of the City. Clerk en Enne 15, 1965;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CT ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, nubbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved end adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the vnrk specified in. sei peci-
fications and Provisions be, and tbe same is hereby authrized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, thnt the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of II:0C o'clock a.m., on FRIDAY, JUNE 25, 1965, for furnishing to the City of all lebr,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment neessnry for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must he presented to the City 5 lerk. in the
City Hall, Alameda, CAlifornia, under seeled cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Resurfacing Mound Street between Otis DriVC and San. Jose Avenue'E, or similar designation—
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject. to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who subwAts the lowest and best hid. The JPght is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said. Specifications and Provisions mAy be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall., Alameda, CaHfornia,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions nf this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions,
