ADOPTING SPECTEICATIONS, SPECJAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF A LEFT T7ad SLOT ON TILDEN WAY AT BROADWAY,
CALLINY; FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the Cty EngTneer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the construction of a left tuyn slot on Tilden Way at Broadway, numbered PN 6-65-15 and filed. in.
tho office of the City Clerk on aune 15, 1965;
NDl THEREFORE, BE II' RESOLVED BY TAE COUNCIL CT THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
pecifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the ,pdark spec:id:led in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTSER. that the Counnil of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of' 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FREDAY, JULY 9, 1965, for furnishing to the City of all la1)cr,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions.. Bids must be presented to die City Clemk, in the
City Said., Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Construction of a Left Turn Slot on Tilden Way at Broadway", or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provlsions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications end Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder 33' application to
the Cit Engineer, at hit orasce in the City Hall, Alameda, Califorada.
The City Clera is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of t1-053 resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
T, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in 'regular meeting assembled on the
15th day of Pune, 1965, by the folload1 3 vote, to wit:
