ATPROVING A ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA FOP TUE FISCAL YEAR. 1965-196-6.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted te and filed with this Council. a tentatlive budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affa:rs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal
year 1965-1966, said budget being entitled, "Recommended Budget -- City of Alameda -- Cal9fornia
-- 1965-1966', and being filed. with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda ns of june 15, 1965; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alnmeda has fully examined sn t 35 2 bIdget nd
hereby finds that said tx,mtative financial plan, as amended, is in the best interests of the City
of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council
hereby adopts and approves said amended tentative budget in the amount of $ 5,481,370.00 sub-
ject to final approval in September, 1965, as required by Section 17-4 of the Charter of the City
of Alaeda,
BE IT F=HER RESOLVED that Lhe Cat), Manager of the City of Alameda and the Auditor of
said City are hereby authorized and direcLed to follow the precepts of the said tentative budget
the Interim perTiod to adoption and. approval of the final budget for the fiscal year 1965-1966
by this Council in September, l'r)65.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duty and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in special meeting assembled on the
22nd day of June, 191 5. by the following vote; to wit:
YES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix: jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5),
