AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND
COMPLETION OF IMPROVEMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH PROPERTY
DIVISION MAP NO. 146 AND APPROVING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE
50ND AS TO SUFFICIENCY (1000 SHERMAN STREET -- ROY
WITTENAU).
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 11-319.1 of the Alameda Municipal Code, there has been pre-
sented to this Council a Property Division Map, designated Property Division Map No. 146, and here-
tofore conditionally approved by the Planning Board, being a division of the property located on the
east side of the southerly end of Sherman Street, in the City of Alameda, by Roy Wittenau; and
WHEREAS, said approval by the Planning Board is conditioned upon the execution by subdivider
of an agreement to construct and complete certain public improvements on said property; and
WHEREAS, said subdivider has entered into such an agreement and has posted his bond guaran-
teeing Full and faithful, performance of said work, all in accordance with said section; and
WHEREAS, it will be to the benefit of the City to have said work performed in accordance
therewi th ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the agreement for
the construction and completion of the improvements in the division of property located on the east
side of the southerly end of Sherman Street, designated as Property Division Map No. 146, by Roy
Wittenau, be, and the same hereby is, approved, and the City Manager is authorized and directed to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said agreement on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond in the sum of $1,727.00, guaranteeing full and faithful
performance of said contract, is hereby approved as sufficient in amount.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
20th day of July, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
