aRANTINC PACIFIC CCAST ENC1NEERIM COMPANY A REVOCABLE
PERMIT FOR PUBLIC STREET ENCR ACUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: That there is hereby granted to
Pacific Coast Engineering Company a permit, revocable at the sole discretion of this Council, to con-
struct a special driveway and a craneway which overhangs and encroaches into Clement Avenue, in accord-
ance with plans therefor submitted by permittee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said revocable permit is granted upon each of the following terms
and conditions:
(1) Permittee shall pay all costs in connection with construction of said encroachments,
and all costs required to reconstruct the street improvements upon termination of this permit.
(2) All work connected with the construction, reconstruction, and reanval of said encroachments shall be performed to the satisfaction, and in accordance with the specifications, of the City
Engineer.
(3) By acceptance cf this permit, said Pacific Coast Engineering Company agrees to save
and hold harmless the City, its officers and employees, from any and all liability and claims of what-
ever nature arising out of the construction or use of said encroachments, or from the exerclse of the
permit herein granted.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of August, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).

ABSENT: None.
