\)0V111 10 SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
CARPENTRY WORK AT GODFREY PARK. PALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK 'CO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
carpentry work at Godfrey Park, numbered PW 9-65-26 anti filed in the office of the Pity Clark on
September 7, 1965;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Sponificetions, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11.00 o'clock a.m.. on FRID. Y, SEPTEMBER. 24, 1965, for furnishing to the City of all
labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Hall, Alamede, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, -Proposal
for Carpentry Work at Godfrey Park', or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to t.he provisione of the Charter of the
City of Altmede, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is
reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda. California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions=

the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting asseribled on the
7th day of September, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
