WHEREAS, the its Engineer has nrepared Srecifications, Specie-1 Provisions
and Plans for the inatallation of a storrn . sewer in fernside Boulevard between
Garfield Avenue and Thom.pson Avenue, end in Thompson Avenue between Ferrside
Boulevard ard High Street, numbered FW 7-65-21.. and filed in. the office of the City
CUerk on September 21, 1965;
1L THEREFORE BE IT RESOLTES L(.1' THE GOENCIF OF $t-1 OF AIIIBEHA that
the aforesaid Specifirations, Special Provisions and. Piers, numbered and filed ss
aforesaid,
Le, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVEU, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work . specified
in :aid Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby -authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alnmedta will receive
sealed bids ut to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRINAY, OSTOPER 8, 1965 for
furnishing to the City of Ril labor, materials, machinery, tools end equipment
necessary for the work hereinatove referred to, in accordance with said Specifi-
cations and Provisions. Blds m.ust be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, Alameda, CaGTforria, under sealed over and plainly marked or the outside,
"Proposal for Installation of a Storm Sewer in Fen, side Boulevard and Thomnson
Avenue", or similar designation.
Contract, Lf awarded, will be awarded . subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the Gity of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. The right id reserved to rejoct any or all tido.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had ty any prospective bidder
on apnlication to the, City Engineer, et his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Cler?, is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed hid, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I., the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of tte City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 21st day of September, 1965, b' the following vote, to wit:
