Resolution 06862CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 6862 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA ONE (1) NEW, LATEST MODEL STATION WAGON AND THREE (3) NEW, LATEST MODEL TWO-DOOR SEDANS (COMPACTS), ALL WITH STANDARD TRANSMISSION, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda Item #1. One (1) new, latest model, station wagon with standard transmission, for the Fire Department; Item #2. Three (3) new, latest model, two-door sedans (compacts), with standard transmission, for the Fire Department and the Planning Department; No. MS 10-65-17. filed in the office of the City Clerk on October 19, 1965, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda wilt receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 1965, for furnishing to the City of said automobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the out- side, "Proposal for one (1) station wagon and three (3) two-door sedans (compacts)," or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call- ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions. * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of October, 1965, by the following vote, to wit; AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, ROSE and President Godfrey, (5).
