GRANTING VYRA F. KERR REVOCABLE FENCE ENCROACHMENT PERMIT
(888 WILLOW STREET).
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that there is hereby granted to Vyra F.
Kerr, owner of a residence located at 888 Willow Street, e permit, revocable at the sole discretion
of this Council, to construct a six-foot wooden fence on City property along the easterly line of
Willow Street, and facing permittee's said property for a distance of 50 feet more or less in a
northerly direction along said City property from a point where the southerly boundary of said Kerr
property intersects said street, all in accordance with plans therefore denominated "Kerr Variance
Application" heretofore approved by the Planning Board; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said revocable permit is granted, and accepted by permlttee,
upon each of the following terms and conditions:
(1.) Permittee shall pay all costs of construction of said encroaching fence. and all
costs required by reason of any termination of this permit;
(2) Construction, design, painting, precise location and all maintenance of said fence
shall be done by permittee to the satisfaction of the City Engineer;
(3) By acceptance of this permit, said Vyra F. Kerr and her assigns and representatives
agree to hold harmless the City from any and all liability and claims of whatever
nature, arising out of the construction or use of said encroaching fence, or from
the exercise of the permit herein granted.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
2nd day of November, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr.. McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
