ADOPTING SPECCFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
THREE (3) NEW, 8 CYLINDER, 4-DOOR SEDANS, 1956 MODELS WITH
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to the City of Alameda three (3) new, 8 cylinder, 4-docr sedans, 1966 models with automatic
transmission, for the Police Department, No. MS (1-65-18, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
November 16, 1965, be and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:0U o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY. DECEMBER 9, 1965, for furnishing to the City of said
automobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the out-.
de, ”Proposal for Three (3) L.-Door Sedans', or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said City,
to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and beet bid. The right 1S reserved to reject any
or all bids.
The Cl(-4 Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of thls resolution and of said Specifications
and Frovisions.

introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
13th day of November, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
