ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR OPERATING REFRESHMENT CONCESSION
IN WASHINGTON PARK, LINCOLN PARK, KRUSI PARK, McKINLEY PARK,
GODFREY PARK, AND ON SOUTH SHORE BEACH, FOR THE PERIOD COMMENC-
ING JANUARY 1, 1966 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1967 (ALTERNATE
"A", JANUARY 1, 1965 -- DECEMBER 31, 1968; ALTERNATE °B",
JANUARY 1, 1965 -- DECEMBER 31, 1970), CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED ey THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions
filed in the office of the City Clerk on November 16, 1965. No. MS 11-65-20, for operating refresh.-
ment concession in 11ashington Park, Lincoln Park, Krusi Park, McKinley Park, Godfrey Park, and on
South Shore Beach, for the period commencing January 1, 1966, and ending December 31, 1967 (Alternate
'A', January 1, 1966 -- December 31, 1968; Alternate "13, January 1, 1966 -- December 31, 1970),
be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED,FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 1000 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10, 1965, for the privilege of operating the said
refreshment concession, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be pre-
sented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside, "Bid for Operating Refreshment Concession in Parks and on South Shore Beach,'
or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the highest
and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
16th day of November, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
