AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND
DESIGN SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH NEW POOL PROPOSED FOR
ALAME wrM CENTER.
WHEREAS, construction of a new combination swimming-diving pool and related facilities is
proposed at the Alameda Swim Center and it is deemed in the City's hest interests to obtain the
services of a professional designer therefor; and
WHEREAS, a form of agreement has been submitted by which such services are to be rendered
and which covers the nature and scope thereof, and the Council is informed of the contents of such
agreement;
Nrw, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager of the City of Alameda be, and he
hereby is, authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City, that certain contra7t referred to
hereinabove as filed in the office of the City Clerk marked, "Filed, December 6, 1965," and said
City Clerk is directed to attest same.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled nn the
7th day of December, 1965, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5),
NOES: one
BSENT: None.
