ADOPTING SPECIFICATTONK, SPFCIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
BUILDING REPAIRS sr THE ALWTKEDA SWIM CENTER, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTISA CITY CLERK TO ADVEIFITFE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
repairs to the Swim Center Koilding at the Alameda Swim Center, numbered PW 1-66-2 and filed in the
office of the City Clerk on ganuary 4, 1966;
NCW THEREFORE, BE il' RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifictions, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered end filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said
Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED,EURTHER, that the Conncil of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, 3' 1' 21, 1966, for furnishimg to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, twols and equipment necessary for the work 1""O '111,1 referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specificat'one and Provisions. Bids must bg presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on 1110 outsidew "Proposal for
Bull.dIng Repairs at the Alameda Swim Center', OT similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, 10 the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids,
Said SpecificatIons and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hmll. Alameda, `.California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed hid in accordance with the provisions cf this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
