C[TY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO, 6896
RESOLUTION OK THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA tN MEMORIAM
TO OKORGE J. KRUECKEL, 3ETIRED CITY EMPLOYEE.
WITH PROFOUND SORROW, the Council of the City of Alameda records the death. of one of its
loyal, former employees, GEORGE J, KRUECKEL.
WHEREAS, Mr. Kruectel had been employed as a Custodian fox the City of Alemeda 611 Novem-
ber 26, 1937, and had performed his duties conscientiously and most efficiently until his retirement
on September 30, 1948; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Krueckel, in earlier life, had gained considerable renow for his ability to
drive an automobile prior to the turn of the century and also for his capabliittes as an automobile
mechanic; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Krueckel had always been a most friendly and obliging person and had been
well liked by all of his fellow employees and the many other people of the communIty with whom he
came in contact,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Alameda does hereby express
its appreciation for the fourteen years of reliable and excellent service given by Mr, Krueckel and
for his cheerful nature which engendered pleasant relatIons and good will among all those he served.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread in full. upon the minutes of this
medDstng and that a copy. Lthereof be sent to the family of Mr, Krueyttel to convey to its members a
sincere expression. of condolence in their bereavement.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLVED that. when this meeting of the Council of the City of Alameda adjourns,
it shall do so in. respect to the memory of this warmhearted man, GEORGE KRUECKEL.

introduced and ddopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled, on the
