AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH TREICHEL & GIBBS IN CONNECTION WITH PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION
OF NEW FIREHOUSE FOR CITY.
WHEREAS, the City contemplates construction of a new firehouse on a site to be later selected,
and requires services of an architect to provide necessary design, construction and other work in con-
nection with said construction; and
WHEREAS, Treichel & Gibbs are duly licensed architects and have represented to the City
they have the professional competence and ability to provide such necessary work, and City relies
upon said representations, and it is deemed in the City's best interest to obtain the services of
said Architects; and
WHEREAS, a form of contract between the City and said Architects has been submitted, by
which such services are to he rendered by the latter, and which encompasses the nature, extent and
scope thereof, and this Council is informed of the contents of that agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager
be and is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City, that certain proposed architectural
services agreement hereinabove referred to, as filed in the office of the City Clerk and marked,
"Filed, February 15, 1966," and said Clerk is directed to attest to same.

1, the undersigned hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
15th day of February, 1966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
