RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that. the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing to tbe City of Alameda five (5) new, 8-cylinder. 4-door sedans, 1966 models with automatic
transmission, for the Police Department, No. MS 4-66-3, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
April. 5, 1966, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted-
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11.00 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY, APRIL 21, 1966, for furnishing to the City of said auto-
mobiles, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Five (5) 4-Door Sedans for Police Department', or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid The right is reserved to reject
any or all bids,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice 1,,,
for sealed bids, in accordance the provisions of this resolution. and of said Specifications and
Provisions.
