ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
THE RESURFACING AND MINOR REPAIRS OF VARIOUS STREETS IN
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CURTI TO ADVERTISE SAME,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisione and Plans fos
the resurfacing and minor repairs of various streets in the City of Alameda, numbered PH 4-66-11 and
filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 19, 1966;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 31 1' that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and. ad,opted.
RESOINED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda bill receive sealed bids up to
the hour of LUDO o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, 3331 6, 1966, for. furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specificatione and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, ir the City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed =lei' and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Resurfacing of. Various Streets in the City of Alameda, or similar designation.
Conbract, if awarded, will he awarded su., ject. to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid, The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerb is hereby directed to advertise, in tbe Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, ir accordance wilfh the provisions of this resolution and of siaid Specifications
and, Provisions-
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of thb City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
19th day of April, 1966, by the following vote, to oit:
