PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY, CURB AND CUTTER,
AND INSTALLATION OF 110311SE LATERALS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 0110 3"
JUNE 30, 1967, CALLINO FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
MINOR STREZT PATCHING WITH ASPHALT CONCRETE for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1967, numbered PW
5-66-22 and filed with the City Clerk on May 1, 1966; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY, CURB AND GETTER for the fiscal year ending
12'' 30, 1967, nwmbered PW 5-66-13 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 3, 19661 and
WBEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for
the INSTALLATION OF HOUSE LATERALS from the street laterals to the property line, and other work
appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1967, 210,) 1191 PW 5-66-14 and filed with
the City Clerk on May 3, 1966;
NOW THEREFORE, BF TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY ,%14EDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, (1 01119 and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOINED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work s eaified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby, authorized.
MEDIATED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 27, 1966, for tne furnishing to the City of all labor, materials
and equipment necessary for said work, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1967, in accordance with
said Specifications and Provisions individually prepared therefor, Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, ill Alameda, Californla, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the
outside with the designation of the fiscal year work to 31' said bid applies.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded suhieet to the provisions of the Charter of said
Citg, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject
any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice cg1J-
Ina for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
