ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1967, CLASS "B" PORTLAND
CEMENT CONCRETE TRANSIT MIX, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SANE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and Provisions for
furnishing Class "B Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
ending June 30, 1967, No. MS 5-66-9, filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 17, 1965, be, and
the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up
to the hour of 1100 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, MAY 27, 1966, for furnishing to the City of said
materials, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions, Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the out-
side, "Proposal for Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix-Fiscal Year 1966-67", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of said
City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
17th day of May, 1966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
