ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF DIVING FOOL ADDITION FOR ALAMEDA SWIM
CENTER, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME.
WHEREAS, Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for construction of diving pool addi-
tion for Alameda Swim Center, numbered PW 5-66-17, have been prepared and filed in the office of the
City Clerk on May 17, 1966;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the eforeSaid Speci-
fications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid. be, and the same are hereby
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 10, 1966, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials. machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Plans. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Diving Fool
Addition for Alameda Swim Center', or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who suhmits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications, Provisions and Plans may be had by any prospective bidder on applica-
tion to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda. California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling
for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications,
Provisions and Plans.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
J7th day of May, 1966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose and President Godfrey. (5).

ABSENT: None.
