ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR
INSTALLATION 02 AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM IN THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL
GOLF COURSE, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DfRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Frovisions and Plans for
the installatioA of an irrigation system in the Alameda Municipal. Golf Course, namhered PW 6-65-20
and filed in the office of the City Clerk on June 21, 1965;
NOW THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCI1 OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid
Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the some are
hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FdRTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Speci-
fications and Provisions he and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed bids up to
the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 5, 1966, for furnishing to the City of all labor,
materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accord-
ance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Dell, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on INC outside, "Proposal for
Installation of an Irrigation System in the Alameda Municipal. Golf Course,' or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded su6lett to the provisions of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to
reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application. to
the City Engineer, at his office in the City Mall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice call-
ing for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said Specifications
and Provisions.

introduced and adopted hy the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the
21st day of June, 1966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Bartley, La Croix, Jr., McCall, Rose nnd President Godfrey. (5).
