APPROVINC AND ADOPTFNG 3 BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1966-
1967; APPROPRIATING CERTAIN MONEYS FOR ThE EXPENDITURES
PROVIDED 1.6 SAID BUDGET FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR AND RATiFYING
CERTAINEXPENDITURES HERETOFORE MADE.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to and filed with this Council at this meeting, a budget
representing a financial plan for conducting the affairs of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year
'beginning July I, 1966, and ending Jame SO, 1967, which budget is marked "Filed '4 34 the City Clerk
in open meeting of the City Council, September 6. 39667,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED Blf THE EOUNCIM OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said budget as
submitted to this COuncil at this meetina, and each and every part thereof, be, and sbe seine is
hereby, approved and adopted as the budget fox the City of Alameda for the fiscal year 1966-1963,
and that the expenditures of the various sums of money therein provided to be spent for salaries
and wages, maintenance sod operation, ane capital outlay, by each department as therein liSted in
detail, are hereby approved and authorized in total, by the above object classification, as thh
appropriations for the fiscal year ending june 30, 1967.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there be, and arm hereby, appropriated for the fiscal year 196E-
1967, the specified sums for the purpose of meeting the chst of salaries one wages paid officers and
employees, the cost of maintenance, operation, and for equipment and other cspital outlay of the
respective departments, drvisionm, offices and boards of the City, and for all other purposes desig-
nated in said budget for the respective purposes cf the said departments, divisions, offices and
boards of the City, and. for such special funds and other purposes designated in said budget; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all of the appropriations herein provided for are made out of
the General Fund for the fiscal yAar 1966-1967, except those made to or for purposes for whicM special
funds are established, and as to such last mentioned, purposes said appropriations are macie out of the
special funds respectively established therefor,
BE IT FURTEER RESOLVED thet such expenditures es may have been made by the several. depart-
Tents, divisions, officem taid bnards of the City after the beginning of the fiscal year 1966-1967, and
prior to the adoption. of this resolution, and have been yr may be duly approved by the. City Anditor,
are herety ratIfied, confirmed and approved, and. shall be respectively charged egminst the appropria-
tions herein end in. sald budget provided for,
