AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXERCISE OPTION FOR PURCHASE
OF REAL PROPERTY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the City Manager be, and hereby
is authorized to give appropriate notices for the purpose of exercising the right or option of the
City to purchase certain real property located generally at the northeast corner of Park Street and
Encinal Avenue, which property is intended for use by the City as a firehouse site. Said notices
and exercise of options shall be pursuant to those two certain written agreements therefor, (a) dated
July 29, 1966, between the City, as proposed Buyer, and Martha A. Jenkins, Sara 11. Brooks and Grace
Ann Smith, proposed Sellers, and (b) dated August 26, 1966, between the City, as proposed Buyer, and
Alameda Amusement Company, proposed Seller.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
